MYC and metastatic melanoma: Our results showed that TAP7f, which inhibited melanoma cell proliferation, migration and invasion, also reduced β-catenin nuclear translocation and diminished expression levels of β-catenin as well as some of the downstream targets cyclin-D1, c-Myc and MMPs-2 and -9, supporting an invasive role for Wnt/β-catenin pathway in metastatic melanoma cells.
