Lipids are also important for cancer cell metabolism and provide energy to drive tumor growth; therefore, we also analyzed key genes involved in lipid metabolism and found that TG synthesis-related genes were decreased in DEX-treated groups, including glycerol-3-phosphate acyltransferase (Gpam), 1-acylglycerol-3-phosphate O-acyltransferase 2 (Agpat2), and diacylglycerol O-acyltransferase 1 (Dgat1) (Figure 3B). The gene discussed is GPAT3; the disease is cancer.
