Programmed cell death‐ligand 1 (PD‐L1), which is widely expressed in immune cells, lymphatic endothelial cells, blood endothelial cells, tumor cells and so on, can suppress immune‐response.14, 15 High expression of PD‐L1 is associated with an unfavorable survival in patients with lung cancer.16 The gene discussed is CD274; the disease is lung carcinoma.
