To confirm that knockdown of miR-661 could restore the inhibition of apoptosis and promotion of glioma cell migration, invasion, and EMT mediated by hsa_circ_0088732 knockdown, we first verified that transfection of an miR-661 inhibitor could inhibit LN229 and U87-MG cell apoptosis and promote the migration and invasion capabilities of LN229 and U87-MG cells by regulating N-cadherin, vimentin, and E-cadherin expression (Figure 5).
