Individuals undergoing successful anti-TNFα (adalimumab) treatment for psoriasis had a reduction in the number of pathogenic NKp44+ ILC3s and an increase in NKp44– ILC3s in the circulation (65), suggesting that a major role of TNFα in the pathogenesis of psoriasis includes potentiating pathogenic ILC3s. This evidence concerns the gene TNF and psoriasis.
