Interestingly, SP cells were isolated form all the 60 tested adenomas (GH- and ACTH-secreting, or NFPAs), with a calculated presence of putative PASCs ranging from 0.5 to 2% (mean 1.9%), with the occasional observation of a NFPA showing up to 17.2%. Here, GH1 is linked to non-functioning pituitary adenoma.
