Meta-analyses have shown that recipient and/or donor IL2 -330T > G (rs2069762), IL10 -1082G > A (rs1800896), -819C > T (rs1800871), and -592C > A (rs1800872), and TNF -308G > A (rs1800629) SNPs do not affect acute rejection incidence in Caucasian kidney transplant recipients receiving immunosuppressive therapy (Hu et al., 2011; Hu et al., 2015; Xiong et al., 2015; Hu et al., 2016). This evidence concerns the gene IL2 and kidney transplant.
