Recent research has demonstrated that rhBNP inhibits the expression of inflammatory factors (interleukin-6 (IL-6), IL-1β, and tumor necrosis factor-α (TNF-α)) and plays an anti-inflammation role during heart failure, systemic inflammatory response syndrome, myocardial inflammatory reaction, and lung injury by regulating the NF-κB pathway [17–19]. This evidence concerns the gene TNF and systemic inflammatory response syndrome.
