MAP2 and neuroblastoma: Schneider et al. [67] and Encinas et al. [67] reported increases of some neuronal marker proteins (such as microtubule-associated protein 2 (MAP2)) in ATRA-treated neuroblastoma cells as a characteristic of differentiation, but in studies by Pezzini et al. [41] and Shipley et al. [22], the expression levels of these genes were not significantly changed after ATRA treatment.
