CA2 and Rotavirus infection: Work from Chang‐Graham, Perry, Engevik, Danhof, and, Hyser, 2018 demonstrated, using the GCaMP6s Ca2+ sensor in human jejunum enteroids, that rotavirus infection activates dynamic Ca2+ signaling through mediation of SOCE and purinergic signaling in infected cells (Chang‐Graham et al., 2018).
