To date, a broad array of evidences have corroborated the inherent association of UCA1 with etiologies of diverse neoplasms, including bladder carcinoma, breast cancer, CRC, esophageal squamous cell carcinoma, gastric cancer, hepatocellular carcinoma, melanoma, ovarian cancer and squamous-cell carcinoma [16, 21, 43–48]. The gene discussed is UCA1; the disease is colorectal carcinoma.
