Triple immunofluorescent labelling for PD-1, PD-L1 and CD68 in tissues both of Hodgkin lymphoma and AITL (Fig. 2) revealed that CD68, marker for macrophage lineage, including monocytes and histiocytes, was solely and exclusively expressed in PD-L1+ cells and never in PD-1+ cells. The gene discussed is CD68; the disease is angioimmunoblastic T-cell lymphoma.
