PCA3 is a long, noncoding RNA that is overexpressed in most prostate cancer PCa cells and is involved in regulating the expression of epithelial–mesenchymal transition markers, androgen receptor cofactors, and PCa suppressor PRUNE2. 43-45 As depicted in Figure 3, search for “PCA3” shows an overexpression of PCA3 in prostate cancer. The gene discussed is PRUNE2; the disease is posterior cortical atrophy.
