There was no increase found in CD8 T cells from the three non-immune organs (lung, liver and brain) of Rag2KI/KI mice compared to Rag2+/+ mice (Fig. 6C), and the absolute numbers of CD8 T cells that produced cachexia cytokines of Rag2KI/KI mice were also no increase compared to Rag2+/+ mice (Fig. 6G–I) in spite of the dramatically increased percentage of these cachexia cytokines produced by CD8 T cells.
