The 20q11.21-gain in donor 1 comprised 96 genes, including the tumor suppressor gene ASXL1 and the anti-apoptotic factor BCL2L1. The 12q13.12-loss (donor 2) contained PRPF40B, which has a moderate association with cancer, and the 4q28.1 gain (donor 3) comprised the tumor suppressor gene FAT4. Taken together, we did not detect any chromosomal variants that were acquired during differentiation towards iMSCs. This evidence concerns the gene PRPF40B and cancer.
