CD4 and tuberculosis: In contrast, CD38+HLA-DR+Ki67− expression on ESAT-6/CFP-10-stimulated CD4+ T-cells had a high sensitivity for both HIV+TB (100%, 95% CI 70–100) and HIV−TB (100%, 95% CI 70–100) and modest specificity (63%, 95% CI 31–86 for HIV+TB and 88%, 95% CI 53–99 for HIV−TB) at a cut-off value of 5% and 13%, respectively.
