To further investigate the tumorigenic effects of HMGA1P6 on ovarian cancer cells in vivo, a subcutaneous xenograft model was used and both the volumes and weights of the tumors in HMGA1P6 overexpression group were remarkably larger than control group while HMGA1P6 knockdown significantly decreased tumor volume and weight (Fig. 2d, Supplementary Fig. 1c, d).
