Anlauf and his co-authors found that 13/28 (46.4%) duodenal gastrin-producing neuroendocrine tumors and 2/5 (40%) somatostatin-secreting neuroendocrine tumors revealed LOH of 11q13 from six patients with Zollinger–Ellison syndrome and MEN1 [23, 24]. The gene discussed is GAST; the disease is neuroendocrine neoplasm.
