A previous study in mice with fibrosarcoma showed increased leukocyte, lymphocyte, and granulocyte counts in mice after treatment with mouse serum albumin‐coated AgNPs at doses between 2 and 8 mg/kg.79 Likewise, intravenously dosed iron oxide nanoparticles reportedly induced immune cell infiltration in murine breast tumors.12 Stromal infiltration of plasma cells in breast and other cancers is correlated with increased overall survival.80 Additional research on the use of AgNPs for modulation of the tumor immune environment may lead to new opportunities to enhance immunotherapy of cancer. Here, ALB is linked to breast neoplasm.
