Cytokine subsets such as IFN-γ, IL-6, TNF-α and IL1-β induces the activation of macrophage, increases ROS production and drive the homing of T cell into CNS leading to increased levels of IFN- γ, IL-6 and TNF-α transcripts in CSF and CNS tissue of EAE mice and MS patients30,33,34.
