In the training cohort, the age distribution, hypertension, anti-CCP antibody positivity, rheumatoid factor positivity, erythrocyte sedimentation rate (ESR), C-reactive protein (CRP) levels, and dyslipidemia of low-density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-c), total cholesterol (TC), triglycerides and high-density lipoprotein cholesterol (HDL-c) differed significantly between the RA and RA+CHD groups (all P<0.10). The gene discussed is CRP; the disease is metabolic syndrome.
