Notably, the cytokine TNFα, which is related to osteosarcoma progression, could reduce the phosphorylation of CBX4 at T437 to increase CBX4 expression in cells, suggesting that the phosphorylation of CBX4 at T437 by CK1α is relevant to the development of osteosarcoma.
