INS and fibrosis: Univariate analysis showed that higher HCV RNA levels (p = 0.003), aspartate aminotransferase (AST) level (p < 0.001), γ-glutamyl transpeptidase (γ-GTP) levels (p < 0.001), male gender (p = 0.019), lower platelet (PLT) counts (p < 0.001), ≥3 substitutions in ISDR (p < 0.001), ≥6 substitutions in PKR-bd (p < 0.001), and PKR-bd with INS/DEL were associated with advanced fibrosis.
