ITGBL1 and breast cancer: As shown in Fig. 4c, the mRNA and protein level of mTOR and ITGBL1 was decreased in SET7/9-deficient breast cancer cells MDA-MB-231, whereas the overexpression of RUNX2 significantly eliminated the attenuation, which further indicated the effect of SET7/9 in breast cancer development was through RUNX2 and its target genes.
