CD68 and fibrolamellar hepatocellular carcinoma: The presence of uncontrolled fibrosis (Ward and Waxman, 2011), NF-κB activation (Li et al., 2009) and increased levels of CD68 (Ross et al., 2011), a cytoplasmic marker of macrophage and neutrophil granules (Ross et al., 2011), suggest the presence of leukocytes in the liver microenvironment of FLC patients.
