Similarly, CCNE1 and CCNE2 have been previously identified as direct targets of miR-144-5p; bladder cancer patients with high CCNE1 or CCNE2 expression have lower overall survival rate than patients with low expression [23], which suggested that downregulation of CCNE1 and CCNE2 inhibited bladder cancer cell proliferation.
