These data are supported by prior smaller studies, including Gill et al. which showed that GFAP-BDPs could be used to discriminate between CT−/MRI+ and healthy controls, and by Kou et al. which showed increased GFAP levels in CT−/MRI+ patients with intraventricular hemorrhage [16,18].
