Locally advanced non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC) is a highly heterogeneous disease where only modest improvements in survival have been observed, with the exception of chemoradiotherapy (CRT) patients treated with the anti-PD-L1 antibody Durvalumab whose overall and progression-free survival significantly improved compared to those receiving CRT alone [5]. The gene discussed is CD274; the disease is non-small cell lung carcinoma.
