By analyzing all results of immunohistochemical staining and patient's information, including age, gender, tumor stage, differentiation, clinical stage, and lymphatic metastasis, we could draw a conclusion that the expression level of KIF22 was associated with tumor stage (P=0.013), clinical stage (P=0.034), and lymph node metastasis (P=0.015), but had little to do with age, gender, or differentiation (P > 0.05, respectively) (Table 1). Here, KIF22 is linked to metastatic malignant neoplasm in the lymph nodes.
