Consistent with our in vitro findings, in mice receiving 10Panx intratumor injections, the protumor effect of UQCRC1 was largely attenuated (tumor weight of the PANC-1-UQCRC1-PBS group 0.86 ± 0.07 g vs. tumor weight of the PANC-1-UQCRC1-10Panx group 0.51 ± 0.09 g, P < 0.05), while the tumor growth was not affected by 10Panx in the PANC-1-Lv-PBS group and the PANC-1-Lv-10Panx group (0.44 ± 0.09 g vs. 0.49 ± 0.06 g, P > 0.05, Figure 4G-I). This evidence concerns the gene UQCRC1 and neoplasm.
