According to Egeberg and collaborators [97], with respect to slow acetylators, the incidence ratio of breast cancer among those carrying the fast NAT1 genotype was 1.43 (95% CI 1.03–1.99) and among those with the intermediate/fast NAT2 allele, risk was 1.13 (95% CI 0.83–1.54). This evidence concerns the gene NAT1 and breast carcinoma.
