(104) treated a mouse osteosarcoma cell line (LM8) and a human osteosarcoma cell line (KRIB) with an anti-CD47 antibody (B6H12) or control IgG antibody; their study showed that in a mouse model of metastatic KRIB osteosarcoma, there is a positive correlation between CD47 expression in the KRIB cells and the extent of metastasis, and following treatment with the anti-CD47 antibody, osteosarcoma cells were less invasive than IgG-treated cells.
