Soto-Pantoja et al. have also shown that CD47 blockade induces a cytotoxic T-cell-dependent anti-tumor immune response in fibrosarcoma and that CD47 deletion in CD8+ T cells increases their anti-tumor activity, while raised CD47 expression was found to be associated with reduced infiltration of CD8+ T-cells in melanoma (74). This evidence concerns the gene CD8A and melanoma.
