FOXD2 and neoplasm: In hepatocellular carcinoma, silencing of FOXD2-AS1 expression suppresses cell proliferation, colony formation, metastasis, and epithelial–mesenchymal transition; induces cell cycle arrest at the G0–G1 transition; and decreases tumor growth and metastasis in vivo (Chang et al., 2018; Zhao et al., 2018; Xu et al., 2019).
