To analyze the relationship between HIV/AIDS status and ICP, the patients were subgrouped into those with ICP < 300 mmH2O and those with ICP ≥ 300 mmH2O. The peripheral CD4 cell count was 50 (25-69) cells/μl in patients with ICP < 300 mmH2O and 20 (12-36) cells/μl in patients with ICP ≥ 300 mmH2O (P = 0.013) (Figure 1). This evidence concerns the gene CD4 and AIDS.
