Increased CDKN1A levels are associated with poor outcome in esophageal, ovarian, prostate cancers as well as in gliomas [38,39,40,41,42,43], while loss of CDKN1A expression is associated with decreased survival in breast, cervical, gastric, and ovarian cancers [44,45,46,47]. The gene discussed is CDKN1A; the disease is ovarian carcinoma.
