INS and hypertrophic cardiomyopathy: Although clothianidin and V. destructor affected a wide variety of biological pathways, clothianidin seemed to affect more pathways related to energy metabolism, such as insulin secretion and glucagon signaling pathways, also to pathways related to neural disorders, such as morphine addiction, whereas V. destructor alone affected more pathways linked to cardiac muscle function, like hypertrophic cardiomyopathy.
