FCGR2B and HIV infectious disease: This is in line with the findings of Holgado et al. (2018), who demonstrated expression of both CD32A and CD32B mRNAs in CD4+ T cells, with an excess of CD32A. Therefore, although Descours et al. (2017) reported the selective induction of CD32a but not CD32b upon HIV infection, we were unable to discriminate between the two CD32 isoforms for the association with HIV DNA enrichment.
