MiR‐136 has been identified as a tumour suppressor gene in various adenocarcinomas such as breast cancer, colon cancer and lung cancer.22, 23, 24 In addition, miR‐136 can inhibit the activity of ovarian cancer stem cells and enhance the sensitivity of ovarian cancer to paclitaxel by targeting NOTCH3.9 Here, NOTCH3 is linked to breast carcinoma.
