Bone marrow-derived MSCs (BM-MSCs) are important for the formation of hematopoietic stem cell niche [20, 21] and are a promising cell source for regenerative medicine for heart failure [22, 23] or cerebral infarction [24, 25] because they express various paracrine factors such as VEGF and HGF.
