We observed that patients from several cancers have a rate of occurrence of JMJD1B mutations higher than 20% (Fig. 5a), with four cancer types (KIRC (kidney renal clear cell carcinoma), ACC (adrenocortical carcinoma), OV (ovarian cancer) and UCEC (uterine corpus endometrial cancer) displaying high incidence of JMJD1B mutations (> 30%). The gene discussed is KDM3B; the disease is ovarian cancer.
