The statistical results indicated that LA-NSCLC patients receiving definitive chemoradiotherapy with the characteristics of non-smoker, non-squamous cell carcinoma, younger age, peripheral LA-NSCLC, EGFR mutations, long tumor diameter, advanced N stage, non-consolidation chemotherapy and low radiation dose were more likely to experience distant failure. The gene discussed is EGFR; the disease is non-small cell lung carcinoma.
