It has been reported that TGFβ triggers EMT process by dampening E‐cadherin and upregulating vimentin in multiple CRC cell lines.12 Recent studies have also shown that lncRNAs activated by TGFβ is upregulated in serum of CRC patients, and EMT is induced by reducing the expression of epithelial markers E‐cadherin, ZO‐1, and increasing the expression of interstitial markers ZEB1 and N‐cadherin (n‐cad).13, 14 In our study, we concluded that LINC00341 can bind to HMGB2 to inhibit tumour migration. The gene discussed is HMGB2; the disease is neoplasm.
