As an organellar membrane protein, CLIC3 in late endosome and lysosome promotes migration and invasion of pancreatic ductal adenocarcinoma by recycling integrins [13], and it also dictates invasion and metastasis of breast cancer by controlling recycling of late endosomal membrane-type matrix metalloproteinase-1 (MT1-MMP) [15]. This evidence concerns the gene CLIC3 and breast carcinoma.
