SELPLG and Arterial thrombosis: Neutrophils have been recently identified in the coronary artery thrombi of AMI patients.5, 6 Neutrophils are a cluster of HDC‐expressing cells, responsible for histamine homeostasis in the bone marrow and serum.14, 30 Via surface expression of CD11b and P‐selection glycoprotein ligand‐1 (PSGL‐1), neutrophils interact with platelets to contribute to platelet activation and aggregation, potentiate thrombosis, and initiate inflammation.7, 29 Our findings demonstrate that histamine‐producing neutrophils directly engage in arterial thrombosis.
