Our analysis showed that the expressions of PMEPA1 isoforms d and e were significantly increased in prostate tumor tissue compared to benign tissue (Table 3), consistent with the findings that both PMEPA1 isoforms (d and e) promoted the growth of AR negative prostate cancer cells, further suggesting their potential roles in prostate tumorigenesis. This evidence concerns the gene PMEPA1 and urogenital neoplasm.
