IL1B and colitis: As a derivative of coptisine, (±)-8-ADC (75, 150, and 300 mg/kg) treatment activates the transcriptional activity of X-box binding protein 1 and decreases NF-κB expression, subsequently reduces secretion of myeloperoxidase, TNF-α, IL-6 and IL-1β in the colon of DSS-induced colitis mouse.
