Routine analysis of peripheral blood further indicated that UC-MSC transplantation could effectively ameliorate pancytopenia and restore blood parameters, including the number of white blood cells (WBC), hemoglobin (Hb), platelets (PLT), neutrophil, reticulocyte, and red blood cells (RBC) compared with mice in the irrigated and AA groups (Fig. 8e, Additional file 4: Figure S4a–c).
