In a study of non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), MACC1 and c-met were associated with poor prognosis in patients with NSCLC, and MACC1 was suggested as an independent prognostic factor for NSCLC, but there is no significant association with sex, age, smoking, and histological classification between MACC1 and c-met expressions 6. This evidence concerns the gene MACC1 and non-small cell lung carcinoma.
