Importantly, 9 of these snoRNAs were also identified by our analysis with a different methodological approach, namely SNORA21, SNORA56, SNORD12B, SNORD12C, SNORD41, SNORD15A, SNORD15B, SNORD72, SNORD102, confirming the observation that these snoRNAs play an important role in cancer development. The gene discussed is SNORD12B; the disease is cancer.
