In line with this study, using a mouse melanoma model conditionally expressing BRAFV600E along with Pten inactivation that rapidly develop melanoma, it has been shown that somatic inactivation of Brg1 and Bptf (the defining subunit of the NURF complex) delay tumor formation and deregulate a substantial and common gene expression programs critical for normal tumor cell growth. Here, BPTF is linked to melanoma.
